Following the success of the first rehabilitation effort, ACL was awarded a second CalHome grant of $5,000,000 to launch the OOR2 Program.Â
This program continued the mission of restoring and replacing aging manufactured homes for qualifying homeowners.
The OOR2 Program began in April 2023 and was completed on January 14 of 2024.
ACL used $4,971,947 of the total funding, returning an unused balance of $28,053.
Through OOR2, a total of 33 homes were fully replaced with new manufactured homes thanks to the partnership with Santiago Communities, bringing renewed safety and stability to 33 families.
All CalHome funds have been received and utilized.
This second program is part of a long tradition of supporting families and reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting affordable places where people can live and thrive.
